Loewenstein Hospital is one of the largest comprehensive rehabilitation centres in the world. With the goal of developing the most advanced rehabilitation processes, they have teamed up with the Afeka Branch of EWB-IL.
Their joint work aspires to make the rehabilitation process easier for the patients through "Medical Gamification", a new cutting-edge field of engineering requiring mechanical and software engineering expertise.
A collaborative project with the "Yad Sarah" volunteer organization, providing basic medical necessities for the elderly. It aims to optimize storage space design in vehicles transporting medical equipment across the country.
The project is based on the work of mechanical engineering students from Afeka College, alongside the volunteers of Yad Sarah whose experience helps engineers during the design process.
